7 Ways to support yourself in Autumn. 🍁🍂 Fo 7 Ways to support yourself in Autumn. 🍁🍂

For those who know me, you are familiar that I cook 6 times per week home made meals from scratch. To me, it’s not negotiable. Maybe, because I have been very ill as a child and, I remember how nutrition healed me. 

Many things are important to our health and how much’ of it each day we need - as might change to each individual, where we live, your lifestyle and seasons too. 

So here are 7 Ways how you can support yourself this Autumn. 🍁

1./ Nourishing meals - variety of them + some supplements if you prone to illness in Autumn. 

2./ Slow down little… practice a conscious breath whenever you need. When life gets too hectic, stressful, take a break. Slow down with Restorative yoga, mindful eating, journaling, reflect what is happening in your life, build sustainable healthy habits now! 

3./ Sleep more. No need for more words. Seriously, enjoy sleeping this Autumn. You’ll feel like newborn again! 

4./ Digital Detox. A perfect few hours before sleep if you want a good night sleep. During your working hours, allow yourself to get away from your device, take a break - go for a short walk, stretch a little, do something different that starring at your device. Eat away from your computer and any device. Trust me, the worst thing you can do - to eat while you work. 

5./ Self-care time’ - take a plenty of those in the next few months. You deserve it!!! ☺️

6./ Practice yoga. And, I am not saying because I teach it, but because is so amazing once you start having a regular practice. There is nothing like yoga that will keep you sane, flexible, calm, with inner awareness and yoga heals. There, I said it! Just you need to find your style. Talk to me if you need an advice on that. 

7./ Get into nature…. And, a lot this Autumn! You will notice you can breathe easier. It’s fresher air out there! Your mood gets better and your physical health. Try walking at least 2 hours before you get a lunch. 😄

Friday is a day where I let unfold on its own with Friday is a day where I let unfold on its own without intervening. Not necessarily squeezing more in, opposite, making a time to be more spontaneous and allow a time to look around… to enjoy surroundings wherever I end up. To just simply be.’ 

I know - to simply be’ sounds like a cliche.’ But, I think we all need a reminder that we don’t always need to alway go far far away to enjoy a moment or day fully. Because happiness comes from the simple things. The ability to see them, enjoy them fully. 

As Thich Nhat Hanh said: “ There is no way to happiness…. happiness is the way. “ 

So make a time this weekend to get out there, in nature. Wear your walking boots, put your comfy clothes on, get your body moving, top up on a natural vitamin D., breathe the fresh nature air,… and enjoy the surroundings. Is that simple. 

We do need to connect this Autumn. As days getting shorter, our bodies/ minds need more being outside to get a fresh air. 

We need to connect to disconnect. That could be your digital detox for this weekend. 

And, if you get a bit lost in woods that’s ok too, I am sure you’ll find your way back. Allow yourself to go with a flow… ( allow at least during a weekend ☺️ ) 🌳🚶🚶‍♀️☀️
