Kick-Start your Morning – 14mins
Awakening your spine and your body with these simple but effective yoga sequences to kick start your day.
First 4 mins is to bring an awareness to your diaphragmatic breathing ( belly or abdominal breathing ) to settles you in and brings more focus in to your body, and mind. Breathe gently through the nose, on inhale let the belly rise and, on exhale, tighten your abdominal muscles and let them to fall inward towards the spine. Continue the focus of this breath pattern during this short energizing yoga practice.
Get a pillow or a big cushion to use between your heels and sit bones. Additionally, use blanket under your feet for extra comfort for your feet, ankles.
