The Deep Rest Retreat

An Immersive 4-day NeuroWellness Women Retreat in Slovakia  24-28 Nov 2026 / High Tatras

An Immersive Neurowellness Retreat for Deep Rest, Healing & Reconnection.

May 9th, I have returned from a fully Restorative stay at Edenium in the High Tatras mountains of Slovakia, and it immediately felt like a place I wanted to share.

There is something incredibly unique about this environment — a natural invitation into slowness, self-discovery and deep rest. It feels grounding, nourishing and almost like being held by nature itself. A true home-from-home energy.

Surrounded by mountains, forests and pure fresh air, this is a place that naturally encourages you to slow down, breathe more deeply and reconnect with yourself.

It became clear to me that this would be the perfect setting for a deeper NeuroWellness immersion.

The week-long yoga retreat with Julia was exactly what my mind and body needed—a true release from an otherwise hectic, all-encompassing life. From the moment it began, I felt myself unwinding in the most beautiful surroundings.

The experience was such a thoughtful and inspiring blend—deep relaxation paired with majestic countryside, breathtaking views, and superb yoga sessions that nourished both body and soul. Beyond the mat, the variety was incredible: fantastic hikes, an unforgettable cave exploration, and even a serene river boat tour. I still can’t quite believe how much we experienced in just one week.

I returned home feeling like a different person—more grounded, more balanced, and far more at one with myself. It was exactly the reset I didn’t know I needed.

Thank you, Julia, for such a special and transformative experience. I’m already looking forward to joining you again next year!

Step away from the demands of daily life and immerse yourself in four nourishing days dedicated to deep rest, nervous system healing, and meaningful reconnection.

Surrounded by the beauty of the High Tatras, this retreat combines evidence-informed NeuroWellness practices with restorative experiences designed to support emotional wellbeing, resilience, hormonal health, and whole-body renewal.

Through somatic, restorative and yin yoga, Yoga Nidra, meditation, women’s health education, spa and wellness experiences, nourishing gut-brain supportive meals, cacao ceremony, and time in nature, you’ll be gently guided from overwhelm and fatigue towards greater balance, vitality, and ease.

Everything within this retreat is built around four core pillars:

Nervous System Regulation

We focus on helping the body leave survival mode and enter safety, using breathwork, gentle movement, rest and guided downregulation practices.

Nourishment

Food is not separate from healing — it is part of the therapy. Expect deeply nourishing vegan and vegetarian meals designed to support energy, grounding and hormonal balance.

Nature Immersion

The mountains, forests and fresh air of the High Tatras become part of the healing process itself. Nature is not a backdrop here — it is part of the medicine.

The Retreat Atmosphere

This is a Restorative Women’s Retreat designed to support nervous system recovery.

To support that, we gently encourage:

  • quieter mornings
  • digital detox windows
  • minimal stimulation
  • slower rhythms throughout the day
  • presence over productivity

Alcohol is not a focus here, and caffeine naturally becomes less important as the body begins to feel safe enough to slow down.

Instead, we create new rituals of nourishment and calm:

  • ceremonial cacao
  • herbal coffee alternatives
  • adaptogenic drinks
  • matcha rituals
  • breath-work and nervous system education

This is not about restriction — it is about slowness &  ‘energy booster’ replacement.

When women feel safe enough, the nervous system naturally chooses softness over stimulation.

Julia was one of the most amazing people I have met. Kind, attentive, helpful and interested in assisting everyone in their personal and individual quests. I was a complete novice and felt included, respected and valued. Nothing was too much trouble for Julia and the people in the group were all amazing and inspiring. I would recommend Julia to absolutely anyone from novice to expert. The retreat was fab, food great, talks and nature walks. Don’t let this one pass you by folks!!!
