I warmly invite you to join me in Slovakia, my homeland — a land of wild beauty, deep forests, ancient mountains, and warm-hearted simplicity. It’s a place where nature is not just a backdrop but a companion — a quiet, powerful presence that walks beside you, breathes with you, and reminds you of your own inner landscape.

In May 2026, we will gather beneath the majestic High Tatras, where snow-dusted peaks rise above valleys of pine and air that feels like medicine. Our home for the week is Edenium, a soulful sanctuary designed for healing, movement, and stillness — where every corner speaks of care, peace, and purpose.

This retreat is an invitation to pause and listen — to your breath, your body, your longings. Through daily embodied yoga, meditations, mindful hiking, and nurturing rituals of rest, you’ll be supported in returning to your centre — grounded, open, alive. And after long days on the mountain trails, we’ll soak into the warmth of Slovakia’s natural thermal spas — easing tired muscles, calming the nervous system, and deepening the sense of restoration that carries you into the evening.

The Space: Chalet Edenium

With panoramic views of the mountains, Edenium is a purpose-built retreat space full of warmth, light, and serenity. A place where natural beauty blends with spiritual elevation. The yoga shala and large wooden decks invite grounding practices, while cozy accommodations offer rest and comfort.

A Retreat to Nourish Body, Mind, and Spirit

Here’s what awaits you:

What’s Included:

  • 7 nights at Chalet Edenium. A peaceful, purpose-built retreat space nestled beneath the High Tatras, offering breathtaking views, cozy rooms, outdoor jacuzzi, and a fully equipped yoga shala.
  • Daily Yoga Practice & Meditations. A space to energize your mornings and soften into your evenings — fully supported by breath, movement, and intention.

Morning Sessions. Each day begins with Hatha Yoga and gentle flow — grounding, strengthening, and steady-paced practices to prepare you for the day ahead. With a focus on mindful alignment and breath, these sessions are designed to:

  • Build physical strength and core stability
  • Enhance flexibility and joint mobility
  • Support cardiovascular health and stamina for hiking
  • Awaken energy and sharpen mental clarity
  • Nourish your inner landscape through mindful presence and deep breath

    These intentional practices offer the perfect foundation for active days — strengthening the body while centering the mind.

    Evening Sessions

    After exploring mountain trails and soaking tired legs in the jacuzzi, we ease into stillness. Evening sessions offer deep restoration through Somatic movement, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Nidra — practices that:

    • Soothe the nervous system and support emotional balance
    • Aid physical recovery after hiking and outdoor activity
    • Promote deep rest and self-regulation
    • Restore harmony between effort and ease

    Strength in the morning, surrender in the evening — a rhythm that mirrors the mountains and supports your full being.

    ( Yoga is suitable for all levels, including beginners but bare in mind, we will be hiking so prepare for some elavation in walking )

    • 3 Guided Hikes. Explore Slovakia’s most beautiful natural landscapes in the High Tatras — a hidden treasure for hikers of all levels.
    • 3 Cultural & Nature Excursions
    • Visit a historical castle
    • Discover a unique Slovakian cave
    • Unwind in a local thermal spa after a day of hiking
    • Delicious Daily Meals

    (Vegan/vegetarian-friendly options available)

    • Comfortable Accommodation. Choose from private, shared twin, or triple/quad occupancy — all rooms simple, spacious, and designed to rest well. A private bathrooms in single or double occupancy rooms.
    • Space to Breathe. You’ll also have free time to rest, explore, soak up in jacuzzi, journal, a read a book, or simply take in the mountain air on the terrace.

    What’s Not Included:

    • Flights to and from Slovakia. Flights to Slovakia are not included, but assistance with recommendations for flights will be provided upon request.
    • Lunches & some Dinners. Lunches along with dinners on 2 days are not included, giving you the flexibility to enjoy local cuisine at nearby restaurants or during your excursions.
    • Transfers to Chalet Edenium. Transfers to Chalet Edenium are not included. However, a group pick-up and drop-off service will be organized from Poprad Airport for your convenience.
    • Optional Activities.

    • Single Occupancy (only 4 rooms): £1,650
    • Double Occupancy (shared room): £1,250
    • Triple Sharing: £995

    Includes all yoga, hikes, 6 breakfasts, 4 dinners, 3 guided excursions, and accommodation.

    Sample Retreat Itinerary – Embodied Journey in the Tatras

    Day 1: Arrival & Settle In

    Morning:

    • Arrivals & check-in at Edenium
    • Light refreshments & grounding welcome circle

    Midday:

    • Explore the grounds or enjoy quiet rest

    • Gentle stretch & breathwork to land in the space

    Evening:

    • Restorative evening yoga to soften and settle

    • Nourishing dinner prepared by our in-house chef

    Day 2: Into the Mountains

    Morning:

    • Gentle Hatha flow & breathwork to energise and ground

    • Wholesome breakfast

    Midday:

    • Slow train scenic route to Štrbské pleso (1,346m) and guided hike to Popradské pleso (1,494m)

    • Lunch at a mountain café or packed lunch by the lake

    • Quiet rest on return

    Evening:

    • Yin yoga for deep release & meditative stillness

    • Dinner prepared by our in-house chef

      Day 3 & Day 5. Into the Mountains & Strength & Soothe

      Morning:

      • Grounding Hatha yoga to awaken strength, energise the body, and prepare for the trail

      • Nourishing breakfast

      Midday:

      • Mountain hike (moderate level) to one of the stunning High Tatras trails — longer and more dynamic than Day 2

      • Packed lunch or mountain hut meal with panoramic views

      • Return to Edenium for a soothing soak in the jacuzzi 

      Evening:

      • Deeply restorative yoga + Yoga Nidra to ease tired muscles and regulate the nervous system

      • Dinner prepared by our in-house chef ( one of them will be out ) 

      Optional: journaling, herbal tea by the fire, early night

        Day 4: Culture & Calm

        Morning:

        • Gentle flow yoga + breathwork for clarity & expansion

        • Breakfast

        Midday:

        • Visit to a nearby castle or cultural landmark

        • Free time to explore the local village or café lunch

        Evening:

        • Somatic movement & meditation for emotional balance

        • Dinner out at a local restaurant (optional group dinner)

        Day 6: Waters & Wellness

        Morning:

        • Gentle embodied yoga and breath-led movement

        • Wholesome Breakfast

        Midday:

        • Excursion to a Thermal Spa — soak in healing mineral waters

        • Rest, journal or enjoy optional massage treatments

        Evening:

        • Meditative Yin or silent practice to integrate the week

        • Dinner cooked by private chef

        Day 7: Integration & Farewell

        Morning:

        • Closing yoga practice — breath, movement, and reflection

        • Breakfast

        Midday:

        • Gentle forest walk or spa healing waters visit

        • Free time for rest, journaling or packing

        Evening:

        • Closing circle & & ceremony & intention setting

        • Celebration dinner prepared by our in-house chef

        Day 8: Departure

        Morning:

        • Optional morning meditation or walk

        • Light Breakfast & goodbyes

              Julia was one of the most amazing people I have met. Kind, attentive, helpful and interested in assisting everyone in their personal and individual quests. I was a complete novice and felt included, respected and valued. Nothing was too much trouble for Julia and the people in the group were all amazing and inspiring.               Meet Julia, your dedicated yoga teacher and holistic health coach for our upcoming retreat. With over 7 years of experience and a passion for holistic health, Julia’s teaching style prioritizes safety, mindfulness, and self-discovery. She guides you on an inner journey towards inner peace and offers a variety of yoga styles/ practices including; Hatha, Mindful movement flow, Somatic movements, breathing techniques, Yin and Restorative. 

              Julia’s distinctive teaching approach blends strength and softness, fostering creativity and self-exploration within each student. Beyond yoga, she’s a holistic health coach, emphasizing the interconnectedness of nutrition, lifestyle choices, and yoga for overall health and longevity. Join us for a transformative experience with Julia as your trusted guide.

              Julia is a wonderful yoga teacher, she’s very patient and spends time making sure everyone is comfortable and getting the most out of her classes. Her retreats are idyllic and include other activities alongside yoga to compliment and provide a lovely relaxing break from busy everyday life.
