Summer ☀️ can be fast, full, and sometimes… Summer ☀️ can be fast, full, and sometimes… exhausting.

But every now and then, something invites you to slow down. To just be., in a moment.

( it’s hard not to think of what we have done, what will be… ) but we can try. We can practice. A life is a practice.

For me, it’s moments like these — picking meribels (wild little plums), the smell of sun-warmed fruit, the sound of leaves, the stillness.
It takes me back to childhood summers, to simpler joys, to family, and to feeling grounded in nature.

These small rituals remind me how important it is to pause.
And they’re exactly what inspired my
Autumn Retreat 🍂 — a space to root, to breathe, to find balance again.

✨ More on that in my next post… but for now, maybe there’s a tree, or a quiet corner, waiting for you to just be with it. Enjoy every moment of it. 🙏☺️

This isn’t just a bowl of hummus — it’s a bo This isn’t just a bowl of hummus — it’s a bowl of vitality, of connection, of home. 🍲✨

I’ve been perfecting this recipe for a while now — not just to get the texture right; cooking with intention is my way of nurturing myself & loved ones.

And here’s something fascinating — recent research has shown that home cooking is linked to nearly a 30% reduction in chronic diseases in America. 30%! That’s not a small number. It’s a reflection of how disconnected we’ve become from real food — the kind you make with your own hands, knowing exactly what’s in it, feeling the textures, tasting as you go, smelling the aromas that awaken your senses.

👉 Did you know digestion doesn’t start when you eat — it starts when you smell, when you salivate, when you anticipate food? That’s the body preparing to receive nourishment. It’s a ritual — and one we’ve lost when we rely on processed, fast, or pre-packaged meals.

I know that I’ve been lucky — I grew up in a home where cooking was an everyday act of love. My mother, my grandmother — they passed down not just recipes, but a way of being with food.

But don’t let that discourage you. Maybe you didn’t grow up with that — but here’s the truth:

Yes, some of it is a gift. Maybe 10% innate talent. Another 15% might be our inherited relationship to food — our culture, our genes.
But the other 75%? That’s passion, curiosity, and the willingness to show up. To experiment, to fail, to taste, to tweak. To care.

And I have to ask you —
👉 Don’t you want to be healthy?
👉 Don’t you want to truly enjoy what you eat; building your body, mind, spirit?
👉 Don’t you want to be able to say: “I made this. I nourished myself.”

This is the passion I share in my retreats. It’s what I write about in my newsletter — not just how to cook, but how to develop a relationship with food that enhances every part of your life.

Because food isn’t just fuel. It’s your first medicine; your connection to life itself.

If this resonates with you —

Just come back from a 4-hour cooking session with Just come back from a 4-hour cooking session with one of my clients — it’s part of the 12-week Healthy Living & Lifestyle Programme I offer.

It’s always exciting to see someone get inspired by new ingredients and to explore ways to support their gut health — because a healthy gut means a healthy mind, body, and overall wellbeing.

About 70% of your immune system lives in your gut. So when we diversify the microbiome, we’re supporting immunity, digestion, energy levels, even brain function — it’s all connected.

What’s great is that it doesn’t matter how old you are — it’s never too late to start feeling better. Whether it’s supporting healthy aging, improving digestion, boosting energy, or simply wanting to feel sharper mentally, there’s always something we can do.

In my 12-week programme, I work one-to-one with you — combining nutrition, cooking sessions, mindful embodied yoga, breathing techniques, mindset coaching, stress management, we look at your sleep patterns, even exploring your ikigai — your purpose in life.

It’s completely personalised. Whatever your priority is, we’ll focus on that first.

👉 So if you’re feeling low on energy, struggling with digestion, joint aches, brain fog — or just want to feel better, more vibrant and alive — get in touch.

I offer a free 20-minute consultation — no commitment, just a chat to see if I can help and how we could work together. Text me, call me, email me, WhatsApp me — whatever works best for you.

Sometimes, the first step is just reaching out and having a conversation.

Imagine how much better you could feel by the end of the year — more energy, less pain, sharper mind, healthier body.

So don’t wait — message me today and let’s talk about how we can start your own healthy living, sustainable journey.

I want you to feel the best you can feel!

And remember — your body has an incredible ability to heal itself. It just needs the right support, the right tools, and the right guidance.

Let’s work together to unlock that potential — one step at a time.
