I love practicing and teaching yoga in nature, especially in the summer.

There’s something about this time of year — the senses feel more open, the mind a little quieter, the body more willing to breathe and soften into space.

Being outdoors changes the practice. It reminds us we are not separate from what’s around us — we are part of it.

And it also reminds me that yoga is not just about the physical body.

Not just flexibility, strength, or opening tight hamstrings.

Those are beautiful side effects — but they are not the whole story.

Yoga is something much more subtle.

It’s a way of returning to yourself.

A way of regulating the nervous system — the part of you that is constantly responding to life, even when you’re not aware of it. The part that holds stress, overstimulation, and the pace of everyday living.

And through practice, something begins to shift.

There can be more space.
More breath.
More presence.
More aliveness underneath everything else.

Less “doing” from tension… and more being from awareness. 

And this is what I love bringing into my offerings. ✨

A space where yoga is not something you perform — but something you feel.

Something that supports you from the inside out.

Some moments don’t need many words ❤️ In May, I s Some moments don’t need many words ❤️

In May, I spent more time with my mum. 

And I was reminded of something simple, but profound:

Time with the people who have been part of our lives for a long time has a way of bringing things into focus.

There was care.
There was laughter.
There were stories I’ve heard many times before, and others I was hearing for the first time.

And underneath it all — appreciation.

For many of us, these connections look different. It might be a parent, a grandparent, a sibling, a close friend, or someone who has walked alongside us for years.

When we make space for these relationships — even in small, ordinary ways — something softens in us.

We feel more.
We slow down.
We remember what matters.

Not every moment needs to be big or planned. Often it’s the quiet ones that stay with us the longest — coffee shared, a walk, a conversation that doesn’t need to go anywhere.

This month reminded me how powerful that kind of presence can be.

❤️ Grateful for connection.
❤️ Grateful for time.
