There’s nothing better than stepping into the gard There’s nothing better than stepping into the garden and picking fresh herbs straight from the pot. Easy to grow but yes, easy to buy too…

Not only do they add incredible flavour to our meals, but they also come with some wonderful health benefits.

Aromatic herbs are among nature’s most powerful foods, containing a wealth of plant compounds known as phytochemicals. These compounds, including polyphenols and flavonoids, are valued for their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and protective properties, supporting our overall wellbeing.

🌱 Rosemary – Known for supporting memory and concentration, and rich in antioxidants.

🌱 Lime Thyme – A lovely citrusy herb traditionally used to support the immune system.

🌱 Basil – Packed with antioxidants and may help support the body’s response to everyday stress.

🌱 Coriander – Refreshing and full of nutrients, helping to support healthy digestion.

🌱 Parsley – Rich in vitamins A, C, and K, making it a wonderful herb for everyday wellness.

☀️🪴 Summer is the perfect time to use more fresh herbs—sprinkle them over salads, add them to grilled vegetables, blend them into dressings, or simply enjoy their fresh aroma straight from the garden.

A little handful of herbs can make a big difference to both flavour and wellbeing.

And if you’re looking for inspiration, my latest recipe in the Kitchen section.

It’s is a delicious “Saffron Risotto with Shiitake Mushrooms & Lime Thyme” , a golden, slow, grounding — food that is nervous system work.

Don’t be shy to add a lots of herbs 🪴in your Summer cooking. The fresh herbs help support the body’s natural cleansing processes. Always beneficial.! 😀

This is my Summer Garden Bowl — fresh herbs straig This is my Summer Garden Bowl — fresh herbs straight from the garden. 🌿

Quinoa cooked with peas · chickpeas · edamame beans · carrot · radish · red pepper · fresh basil & parsley · seeds · walnuts · pecans

Dressing: olive oil, fresh lime juice, gluten-free soy, organic molasses, a dash of filtered water — blended together.

Light and a full of fibre, a full of flavours and, most importantly, easy to make. As one off dish when needed something small or, can be paired with your meat dish. ( I try to move away from red meats in Summer. They are heavy on our stomach and light plant based dishes are much easier to digest . And, if you drink a substantial amount of water in a day, you eat less. Try it. )

Every ingredient in this bowl is doing something for your gut, your brain, and your energy.

The chickpeas and edamame feed your beneficial gut bacteria directly. The walnuts and pecans provide the omega-3s your brain needs. And that molasses in the dressing? A quiet powerhouse — iron, magnesium, and B vitamins that most of us are depleted in without knowing it.

Real food & delicious - in just few minutes.

☀️ Summer Reset | Legs Up the Wall ☀️ When the we ☀️ Summer Reset | Legs Up the Wall ☀️

When the weather warms up, our blood vessels naturally expand to help cool the body. While that’s a clever response, it can also leave us with heavy, tired legs, swollen ankles, aching calves, and that feeling of carrying extra fluid by the end of the day.

This is your invitation to do less.☺️

Legs Up the Wall is a gentle inversion that encourages blood and lymphatic fluid to return towards the heart, helping to ease heaviness, support circulation, and give your hardworking legs a well-deserved rest.

Just 5–10 minutes can help:
✨ Ease tired, heavy legs
✨ Reduce feelings of swollen ankles and calves
✨ Support healthy circulation and lymphatic flow
✨ Calm your nervous system by inviting a parasympathetic (“rest and restore”) response
✨ Release tension held in the body
✨ Create a sense of spaciousness, ease, and cooling

As you rest here, ask yourself:

💛 “Where am I working harder than I need to?”

Our nervous systems thrive on safety, support, and moments of low effort. We don’t always need to push harder.

Sometimes your nervous system isn’t asking for more effort—it’s asking you to soften, receive support that’s already here, and let gravity do the work.

Because your nervous system responds to support more readily than to effort.

⚠️ This pose may not be suitable if you have glaucoma or other conditions affecting eye pressure, uncontrolled high blood pressure, certain heart conditions, or an acute neck or back injury. If you’re pregnant or have any medical concerns, please check with your healthcare professional before practising.

🌿 I’ve also created a FREE 10-minute Summer Reset Practice to help you cool your body, settle your nervous system, and feel lighter.

Comment “10” below, and I’ll send it to you. 💛

P.s. Let support — not effort — guide you. If your body is working to hold your legs up, that’s your cue to come out of the pose. Rest with your feet on the floor until your body feels ready.
