How do you prepare yourself for bed? 🌙 What’ How do you prepare yourself for bed? 🌙

What’s your evening routine to truly rest and unwind—without screens? I’d love to hear what works for you!

For me, evenings are my sacred reset time. Not always but mostly… it’s when I don’t do it ( going to bed early ) that I notice the difference. 

t’s the moment I slow down, let go of the day, and truly allow myself to rest—without screens ( most days ) without noise, just me and my little rituals. Autumn is the perfect reminder to honor this slowing down. The air is crisp, the nights come earlier, and there’s this natural invitation to cozy up and nurture ourselves.

Giving ourselves a time to listen what works for us and what doesn’t is a secret to our health and wellbeing. We boost boost our energy level or not. We can increase our productivity or not. The smallest changes can have the biggest impact how you start your day — by mastering your Evening Routine. 

Top 5 Evening Rituals: 

  1. Light, mostly plant-based early dinner 🥗 – I keep it easy during the week; treat myself on weekends.

	2. Limit alcohol 🍷❌ – Even a small glass affects my sleep. But maybe that’s just me… at this stage. 

	3. Herbal tea 🍵 – Rooibos, chamomile, or passion fruit signal my body to relax. Am@I hearing Magnesium here, yes that too! 😉

	4. Meditation & breath awareness 🧘‍♀️ – Even 5–10 mins slows racing thoughts and calms my nervous system.

	5. Gentle Restorative yoga 🛌 – Arrive, release tension and soften… and drift off easier.

Extra tips: 
Open a window for fresh air, avoid bright lights/noise, and aim for 10 PM bedtime 🕙 to support your circadian rhythm.

Yesterday, I spoke of change — of the sacred transition that every woman meets.
Menopause is not an ending; it’s a reclaiming.
A return to the woman beneath all the noise, the doing, the roles.

And today… I dance.

Every sway, every stretch, every turn is an offering to myself — to the woman I was,
and to the one I am still becoming.

There’s a wild, untamed power that rises when we let go of control,
when we allow our bodies to feel, to flow, to be.

This dance is not about perfection or performance.
It’s about presence.
It’s about listening to the fire within and letting it move through me.

Because when a woman keeps her freedom from within,
no season, no stage of life, no expectation can take it away.

She becomes her own rhythm.
Her own flame.
Her own home.

This is not the end of your story.
It’s a new beginning — the beginning of your wisdom.

In the West, menopause is often seen as something to treat or fix.
But what if we chose to see it differently?

Menopause isn’t a disease.
It’s not a malfunction.

It’s your body finding a new RHYTHM — a natural transition from creation to wisdom, from doing to being.

How can we support ourselves as women?

It’s not the end of womanhood — it’s the beginning of SELFHOOD. 
It’s slowing down, listening deeply, and nurturing ourselves with care.

It’s not depletion — it’s rebalance.

A NEW RHYTHM TO OUR LIVES. 

For me, it feels like a quiet awakening…
A coming home to myself again.
Just like in Restorative Yoga — coming back home to your body, your breath, and to your own wonderful being.
