Today, on the Autumn Equinox, I’ve started a new Today, on the Autumn Equinox, I’ve started a new rhythm — simple rituals to ground, energize, and flow with the season. A way to welcome not just this day, but this week, and the whole autumn ahead. 🍂

1. / Sunrise & Morning Energy 🌅 

Woke with the light — 7am start, 8am walk & gentle run. Cold, fresh air, golden sun. Moving first thing to boost mitochondria’ and morning energy.

2. / Teaching & Connection 🧘‍♀️ 

Midday yoga — flowing with breath, grounding energy, and creating stability. Grateful for community, connection, and warm post-class chats.

3. / Nourishment from the Earth🥤 

Freshly squeezed beet juice 🫜— rich in natural nitrates, supporting heart health and circulation. A vibrant, grounding tonic straight into the heart. ( check the recipe - it’s the latest blog post! 😀🥣) 

4. / Seasonal Food Medicine 🫜🥕🍊 

Lunch of beet, carrot & orange soup with salad. Earthy, sweet, bright, and deeply nourishing. Seasonal foods = seasonal medicine.

5. Evening Equinox Ritual 🌙🧘‍♀️

Closing the day with meditation and somatic movement — softening, aligning, and honoring the balance of the equinox.

The equinox reminds us of balance — day and night, light and dark. A perfect moment to pause, reset, and realign with the rhythms of nature.

That’s why these Chilterns walks in Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire are more than just weekend strolls… they’re training for life and also preparation for our Slovakian retreat in May 2026. Every step now builds strength and resilience your body will thank you for when standing high in the mountains next spring. 😀⛰️✨

And while summer may be behind us, it doesn’t mean outdoor movement has to stop. 

Quite the opposite — Autumn is the perfect season to walk and hike:

🍁 Enjoy the crisp, refreshing air that clears the lungs and wakes up the body.
🌿 Embrace the changing colours as a reminder of transitions and fresh energy.

The Autumn Balanced Women’s Retreat at the Grange was such a privilege to host. The women who joined were gifted a day of nourishment and inspiration — from a powerful Women’s Health & Longevity talk, to being fed with wholesome food, moving through grounding yoga, sinking into restorative yoga with a calming sound bath, and sharing heartfelt connections with one another.

It was a day to pause, rebalance, and gently step into the new season with calm and clarity. 🍁
